At the end of last week, my house was plagued with this yucky sickness that eventually hit everyone. Never fails it can always happen at the most inconvenient times. So finally, I believe all of us are on the mend. Just in time for a nice warm up. The sun always seems to have a way of making me ultra productive. Mom mode full speed - garage sale prep, workouts, new fitness adventure, wash, dinner, spring ball wrap up with spring game this Saturday, baby going to all solids, and non-stop crawling with mommy constantly chasing after. Oh yeah that is how I like to roll....
This week, we got to kick off our first mommy and me class!!!!! This is something I have been wanting to do every since we started even trying to have kids. It went great! I will say you have to be ready for anything, and almost able to improvise on the fly when working out with little ones. But the good thing is, it is a mommy and me class - we all have kids, we will all have a not-so great day, poonami, or melt-down eventually. The point is everyone is there to enjoy hopefully a decent workout, have fun meeting other mommies (or daddies), and let the kiddos burn off a little energy. I already have new ideas for our next class and cannot wait to see how the next one goes!
How do you workout with your littles???? What are some of their favorite things to do?
Dancing and floor work is a favorite with mine.
It is great to start early! Be an example of a active healthy role model they can look up too.
