Hello!
Sorry I have been MIA for WAY too long!
We pretty much live, eat, and breathe football in this house. So September-November can be pretty hectic times.
Just before Thanksgiving, we finished up our season with a HUGE win against one of our biggest rivals. Woo Hoo! It was an awesome way to finish it up! Once the season ends, we continue to support our other football family. So our season doesn't really end with just the last game.
Honestly between the games, keeping up with a VERY busy toddler boy, running my business, family and friends visiting, teaching classes, and all the other fun normal daily to dos. It has been a little hard lately finding enough time to sit down, focus my thoughts, and share with you guys.
One reason I created this blog was to share how I try to balance a healthy and fit lifestyle for myself and my family, along with sharing all the fun (and not so fun) adventures of being a football coach's wife, and toddler mom.
So all that to say, I am making an early New Year's resolution to dedicate more time to my blog. We have made some MUCH needed improvements like a faster and better internet (Sad huh?). Plus Santa maybe bring us a much needed new computer! So now NO EXCUSES!
All I ask, is that you bear with me. You will see a couple changes to my website over the next few months. These changes will hopefully provide better information and more opportunities for you to join any of my upcoming fitness groups or possibly learn more about joining my fitness team!
Plus I will be including a lot more on healthy eating, clean recipes, DIY projects, and other things that I enjoy doing with the kiddo.
I know I promised in my last blog, that I would share how I continued to workout while I was pregnant after 3 miscarriages. I swear it is coming!!!! I have decided to save this for a two part series. One on my prenatal fitness story, and then the second part on my journey with breastfeeding and staying fit. So you won't be disappointed.
If you get a chance, check out my June blog on tips for working out post baby.

With the New Year's coming up. I have already wrote several goals down for 2016. As I mentioned, earlier my blog is a big one. But I have several others, just as important. One is taking care of myself. We as wives, moms, sisters, grandmothers, and so on tend to take care of everyone else before taking care of ourselves. I believe we are hardwired to an extent to do this.... So this next year be sure to take a little time to focus on yourself. It is amazing how your health and happiness not only affects you in your everyday life. But it also can affect the health and happiness of so many others like your spouse, children, coworkers, and other family members.
So make a commitment to yourself for a happier and healthier you in 2016. If you are not sure where to start email me at [email protected]. ;)
What are some of your goals for 2016????
